In 2019 galleries across the world are celebrating 100 years of the Bauhaus, the hugely influential early 20th Century German art school that promoted a Modernist approach to art and design. Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky taught at the Bauhaus, while the influence of geometric abstracts with minimal colour and bold lines are reflected in the work of Mondrian and Le Corbusier.
