Born in Stourbridge in 1942, Graham Round is an illustrator and member of the Watford Area Arts Forum. Having studied Graphic Design at Birmingham College of Art, Graham went on to become to become the Art Director for Canadas national magazine, Saturday Night.
Returning to London, Graham pursued his career as a childrens book illustrator and designer for many book publishers, as well as illustrating the hit BBC programme, Jackanory.
At present, Graham is pursuing his first passion - painting - which displays his unique naÃ¯ve style. Graham is influenced by the paintings of John Bellany, Ken Done and Max Beckmann. Painting from imagination, Graham draws on his experience as an illustrator, employing rich, vibrant colours in oil and acrylics and mixed media to reflect moments in time.
