Art prints & frames, handmade in England since 1982

Figure against Red Sun II, 1950

Art print by Joan Miro #84091

About the artist

Born in Barcelona in 1893, Miro was a painter, sculptor and ceramicist who is often considered one of the greats of the Surrealist movement.

Fascinated by subverting the traditional representation of human or animal forms, Miro invented a visual language that combined calligraphy with coloured, abstract shapes.

This is an explosive and playful collection of abstract prints that will deliver energy and colour to your space.

Product quality first class and excellent packaging ensured that the picture arrived in perfect condition. It seems good value for money so I'm likely to use this service again.

The sharply defined figure in brilliant colours provide a warm welcome in my hallway. The mounting and framing are well suited to the subject matter. Money well spent. The picture provides an excellent contrast to my other prints.
