Long before Andy Warhol created his iconic silkscreens of soup cans and famous faces, he drew whimsical and endearing illustrations for prestigious New York magazines. However little has been known about his early career, until the celebrated exhibition ‘Andy Warhol: The Textiles’. Following its successful run at Fashion Textile Museum in 2023, the exhibition travelled up to Dovecot – the world-renowned tapestry studio in the heart of Edinburgh – where it will be on display until 18 May 2024. We’re proud to have collaborated with them to curate this special collection of Warhol illustrative prints.
