Cecil Aldin (1870-1935) was one of the best-loved and most prolific book illustrators working during the so-called 'Golden Age of Illustration', which spanned the late 19th and early 20th century. Aldin himself wrote and illustrated scores of delightful books for children, based on the antics of mischievous puppies, as well as more autobiographical works featuring his own menagerie.
This charming collection of prints offer the perfect gifts for animal lovers, his portraits of dogs in particular are full of personality and really make you smile!
They look beautiful framed in simple oaks or made into our handmade canvases.

My purchase was for a special God Daughter's 21st and I was a little bit worried about ordering this online. However, I am completely delighted with the picture, it looks amazing. If you are considering this company, look no further. I will definitely use them again. The print and mount and frame are all super. They are a really nice company to deal with. Well done King and McGaw and thank you
