Water-Lilies, Setting Sun

Art print by Claude Monet #424760

About the artist

Born in Paris in 1840, Monet was the founder and leading figure of the Impressionist movement and one of the most important painters in the history of art.

A master of light and colour, he would repeatedly paint the same scenes ‘en plein air’ in order to capture the changing light or passing of the seasons, most famously at his gardens in Giverny.

In this wonderfully comprehensive collection of prints and posters, you can see every stage in the painter’s prolific career. These iconic works look beautiful framed or as canvases, in small sizes as a cluster on a wall.

This print looks very like a real painting-obviously without the brush strokes etc. It looks like a natural paint finish as it has a matt, non-glossy look. I've never ordered a print before so have nothing to compare it wth but the person I bought it for is very pleased with it. I'd say it's good value for money.
