Waterlilies: Morning

Art print by Claude Monet #7250

About the artist

Born in Paris in 1840, Monet was the founder and leading figure of the Impressionist movement and one of the most important painters in the history of art.

A master of light and colour, he would repeatedly paint the same scenes ‘en plein air’ in order to capture the changing light or passing of the seasons, most famously at his gardens in Giverny.

In this wonderfully comprehensive collection of prints and posters, you can see every stage in the painter’s prolific career. These iconic works look beautiful framed or as canvases, in small sizes as a cluster on a wall.

The whole purchase process was great. There is really good functionality on the website so you can look at prints in different sizes with different types of frame and it appears on a room wall on the screen so you aren't just looking at your print and chosen frame in isolation. I thought this was a nice touch as it makes it easier to visualise it up on a wall at home. The print quality is exceptional and the frames we chose on all 3 of our prints are extremely good quality, true to the originals and the frames solid, well made and beautifully finished.

Great print in a fab size that makes a real impact. The frame was a tiny bit chipped but easily blended in with a black marker. Good price for such a large framed print and with excellent hangings that made it a breeze to hang - it feels very secure
