Art print by Edgar Degas #301395

Edgar Degas

Edgar Degas
Edgar Degas was a founder of the Impressionist movement who worked in drawing studies, pastel illustrations and detailed, painterly scenes. He was a superb draftsman who could capture movement perfectly. His most cherished works are his delicate depictions of ballet dancers.

An excellent quality print showing the richness of the colours and good detail. I would have preferred a more standard size of print. There was no choice but to get it professionally framed as it wouldn't fit into an off the shelf picture frame. The print was laterally inverted from the original in the Musee d'Orsay which was disappointing.

Came very well packaged and I was kept up to date frequently throughout the delivery process. Picture and frame are very good quality and hanging fixture worked perfectly. If I had any criticism it would be that the picture is darker than it appears on the website, but not to the detriment of the overall effect.
