Flappy Lane Fox b. Farnborough, England 1947. Originally trained in interior design, Flappy was drawn to botanical art as a form of therapy following the death of her son- she found the self-discipline required for botanical inspiration very helpful. She holds a Diploma in Botanical Illustration from The English Gardening School and has undertaken several private commissions. She has exhibited at the Chelsea Physic Garden and in Hampton Court and is a member of the Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society. Her work is also included in the recently published Transylvania Florilegium under the umbrella of The Prince of Wales's Foundation Romania.
We started out as a small screenprinter in a Brighton basement. Today we've grown to a factory and design studio in Newhaven. Headed by found Gyr King, we have a simple ethos to bring inspiring, affordable art to everyone.
