Art print by Francis Bacon #15937

Francis Bacon

Francis Bacon

Born in Dublin in 1909, Francis Bacon was a figurative painter known for his bold, graphic and emotionally raw imagery. His preoccupation with the human figure developed during the Second World War in haunting paintings of the isolated human form, often suspended in geometric structures or spaces.

Bacon’s figures have an animalistic power that is at once difficult and visually arresting. This dynamic collection of prints is guaranteed to add authority and impact to any interior.

As a big fan of Francis Bacon i was delighted to see King & McGaw had several of his prints available.I decided on Bullfight No 1, which now hangs proudly in our living room. The quality is exceptional, especially the handmade frame. It was delivered very promptly by UPS and the packaging was fantastic.I am a first time customer of King & McGaw but i would highly recommend them if you want a first class piece of artwork.
