This striking collection of prints from the 1900’s French lifestyle magazine La Gazette du Bon Ton has been developed in partnership with The Courtauld Gallery.
The exclusive La Gazette du Bon Ton was created in 1912 by Lucien Vogel to be the source of everything coveted in the world of fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Each edition of this unbound magazine was printed on the finest paper and contained 10 stunning hand-painted fashion plates showcasing the latest designs from the top couture houses in Paris. The sartorial works of Lanvin, Worth, Paquin and more graced the pages of La Gazette du Bon Ton with many designers featuring their work exclusively in the magazine.
Leading art deco artists such as Georges Barbier and Pierre Brissaud were commissioned to produce each fashion plate. Designed to blur the lines between art, fashion and lifestyle, each exquisite piece featured models wearing elegant clothing in idealistic narrative settings.
Ideal for the hard-to-please, vouchers can be emailed straight to their inbox or sent as a handmade card to their door.
