The French Neo-Impressionist Georges Seurat (1869-1891) is known for his groundbreaking painting technique, Pointillism where an image emerges from tiny dots of multi-coloured paint on a canvas. The viewer's eye blends the colours rather than them being physically blended on the canvas by the artist.
These prints have an ethereal and timeless quality, and work very well on canvas in large sizes for maximum impact.

Not a well known artist to me but was attracted by the 'busyness' of the print. Each look reveals an interesting person, piece of clothing and even animals. A talking piece in our living room.
