About the artist

Georgia O'Keeffe was one of the most significant American artists of the 20th century. Born in Wisconsin in 1887, O'Keeffe renounced the realism she'd been taught at the start of her career and instead she painted expressive cityscapes, large-scale flowers and other magnified objects. The landscape of New Mexico inspired her, and she settled there after the death of her husband and collaborator Alfred Stieglitz. O'Keeffe continued to paint abstracted views of the area until she died aged 98. Her immersive paintings make captivating prints for the home.
