Henry Bingham Neilson (1861 - 1941), known as Harry Neilson, was born in 1861. He was a talented sporting illustrator and painter based in Cheshire. He is best known today for his delightfully informal hunt scenes. His most famous painting, ‘Mr Fox’s Hunt Breakfast on Christmas Day’, is actually a representation of five members of the Blankney Hunt, in Lincolnshire. It has a charming and playful appeal.
