Art prints & frames, handmade in England since 1982
Born in Paris in 1952, Guichards photographs focus on the lone architectural figure of the lighthouse. In 1989, he created a world-famous series of seven pictures, titled La Jument, depicting a French lighthouse in the midst of a tempest.
These spectacular images documenting the immense power of nature are potent pictures for any interior; frame in black for maximum impact.

I heard about the picture from a television programme, and searched on line for a good quality print of it. When It arrived from King and McGaw, I was really disappointed. It was a print on good quality paper, but the quality of the picture was not sharp. I could have probably printed the same quality off on my laser printer at home. I would prefer to buy a shiny Athena type print for that price. Delivery and Customer service from King and McGaw could not be faulted. Delivery was quick and print was beautifully wrapped. They responded to me immediately, and offered a full refund, which was done quickly and with no fuss. Would definitely use them again.
