About the artist
Jen Garrido transforms shapes found in nature into delicate artworks in watercolour and acrylic. Jen is drawn to elements that overlap, and weaves shapes together until she finally arrives at her elegant compositions. The LA-born artist holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Fine Art, has spent time as an art teacher and as an Affiliate Artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Her work has been shown both nationally and internationally. Jen lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter Jemma, and their dog, Peanut.
