‘Obviously the picture itself is subjective. I already have another of Kathy Ramsay's pieces, and adore her work which is particularly impactful, in a sophitiscated way, in the larger sizes - the colours are true to Web site illustrations. The surround is white in the recessed frame, as opposed to a more cream/buff colour in the mounted borders of other framed prints I have purchased from King and Mcgaw. However, I wasn't impressed with the workmanship of the frame and had to return. This seems to be an issue with the recessed frames of late. There is also often scuffing of the corners which is noticeable in the darker frames. Customer Services were excellent in dealing with my return. I didn't have exchanged because I want to reconsider whether or not to have the recessed frame again. I prefer the white colour surround, rather than the cream/buff of the mounting board. If the mounting boards were a white white, then I would have no hesitation in ordering with the mounted frames.’
