L. S. Lowry (1887-1976) is best known for painting industrial scenes of North West England in the mid 20th century. His characteristic style has a dreamlike quality, populated by stylised figures referred to as 'matchstick men'. Although Lowry was trained in academic drawing, he chose to develop his own naive style which has brought him widespread recognition. His mysterious, weatherless landscapes express a personal response to the world around him that never fails to bewitch the viewer. Lowry's paintings tell the true tale behind English city life.
We started out as a small screenprinter in a Brighton basement. Today we've grown to a factory and design studio in Newhaven. Headed by found Gyr King, we have a simple ethos to bring inspiring, affordable art to everyone.
Its a good print, but I would have liked the total product cut to the size that was stated on the website. I purchased 2 prints that arrived with borders of different sizes which now need to be cut to fit the frame....at more cost!

Lovely quality print. Service was excellent when I telephoned to arrange the purchase and delivery. Upon receipt of the picture which was delivered on time it was packaged so well that it would have been difficult to damage in transit. I will be ordering more pictures in the future.

Great service - exactly what I was after. Great quality and speedy delivery. Thank you.
This was a present to a colleague for his 60th. It was beautifully presented and sent in a very secure case.
Unfortunately the delivery agent delivered to the wrong house (we were in at the time) despite it supposedly needing signing for and left it in their porch in the open.

Really very pleased with print
Lovely prints which I framed myself. I also purchased The Match, and as a pair they look great. Much admired by a friend who said she thinks both her husband and her son (who are football mad) would like them so I think they appeal to all ages.
