Expressing the space between reality and a dream world, Nancy Ortenstone uses acrylic paints to create her bold art. Inspired by the ever-changing New Mexico landscape, she creates many layers of underpainting until the final image emerges. "I want my art to reflect the changing weather of the soul" says Ortenstone.
