Olle Eksell (1918-2007) was one of Sweden’s most prominent graphic designers. His iconic logo for the famous Swedish chocolate producer Mazetti, became known as Ögon Cacao (“eyes of cacao”). A design visionary, Olle wrote the book Design = Ekonomi (1964) explaining how design is not just aesthetic but good for the economy. In 2011 the Swedish Government presented Olle with an honorary Professorship for his significant contribution to the field of Design. Driven by joy and curiosity, Olle loved his work and never stopped creating.
We started out as a small screenprinter in a Brighton basement. Today we've grown to a factory and design studio in Newhaven. Headed by founder Gyr King, we have a simple ethos to bring inspiring, affordable art to everyone.
