Patrick Caulfield (1936-2005) was an English painter and printmaker celebrated for his bold, colourful, graphic-style works. Using thick black lines and flat colours, he painted scenes of familiar, domestic objects with both humour and a sense of melancholy. He was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1987 for his solo show ‘The Artist’s Eye’.
We started out as a small screenprinter in a Brighton basement. Today we've grown to a factory and design studio in Newhaven. Headed by founder Gyr King, we have a simple ethos to bring inspiring, affordable art to everyone.
