Lane at Vernonmet

Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947) was a French Post-Impressionist painter famous for capturing vibrantly coloured everyday scenes. When drawing from life, Bonnard would write notes for himself to work from later, preferring to finish the paintings in his studio.
