Points of Contact No. 2, 1964

Victor Pasmore was a British artist and architect who was a pioneer in the development of abstract art in Britain in the late 1940s and 1950s. Pasmore’s break into abstract art was inspired by artists Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee. He pioneered the use of new materials on a large architectural scale often working in collage and construction reliefs. His muted green and blue works were some of the most revolutionary paintings in Britain at the time.
