Albert Furcy de Lavault was born in Saint-Genis, in France, and he thrived in the second half of the nineteenth century.
He was the Conservationist at the Museum of La Rochelle, although little is known about his personal life. Flowers were his main artistic inspiration and his beautiful floral paintings can now be seen in museums in La Rochelle, Cambrai, Rochefort and Saintes.
The date of his death is unknown.
