Yinka Shonibare

Yinka Shonibare CBE RA is a Turner Prize nominated artist known for his exploration of race and cultural identity. His works often incorporate brightly coloured Dutch wax fabrics used to create striking paintings and sculptures that comment on the tangled interrelationship between Africa and Europe, including their respective economic and political histories.
