The Luncheon

Art print by Claude Monet #181660

About the artist

Born in Paris in 1840, Monet was the founder and leading figure of the Impressionist movement and one of the most important painters in the history of art.

A master of light and colour, he would repeatedly paint the same scenes ‘en plein air’ in order to capture the changing light or passing of the seasons, most famously at his gardens in Giverny.

In this wonderfully comprehensive collection of prints and posters, you can see every stage in the painter’s prolific career. These iconic works look beautiful framed or as canvases, in small sizes as a cluster on a wall.

I am an international customer of King and McGaw. Delivery time was reasonable, about 10 days. Print arrived well packed so was in perfect condition. Colours were exactly as described which was important to me. I had originally ordered the print from another company on this side of the Atlantic and had to return it as colours were totally off. King and McGaw got it right. Price was excellent value even converting it to Canadian dollars, compared to several other sites I had visited. I did use customer service several times throughout the order and delivery process and each time found them responsive, courteous and informative. I am very pleased with my experience with this company and plan to use them again in the future. Marilyn from Ontario, Canada
