Art print by Edgar Degas #354237

About the artist

Born in Paris in 1834, Edgar Degas was one of the key founders of the Impressionist movement; a prolific artist, his work embraced painting, sculpture, print and drawing. Degas was a superb draftsman, particularly skilled in capturing movement – his most cherished works are his delicate depictions of ballet dancers.

This impressive collection of prints shows the full breadth of Degas’ work, from his charming line drawing studies and pastel illustrations to detailed, painterly scenes. Whether printed on beautiful fine grain paper or canvas, they are a beautiful addition to any room.
