The Vale of the White Horse, c.1939

Born in 1903, Eric Ravilious was an English painter, designer, illustrator and wood engraver. Seventy years ago, a children’s book of shopfronts featuring two dozen of his exquisite lithographs was published. Today, brought to you from the archives of the Victoria and Albert Museum, King & McGaw has produced a beautiful collection of art prints from these coveted lithographs. Delve in and discover prints by one of the most versatile and talented artists of Britain’s inter-war generation.
