Art prints & frames, handmade in England since 1982
Laurel Wade was born in Southern England during the 1950s, and was brought up in Surrey.
After his education, he trained in various studios and darkrooms throughout London, and learnt to print in black and white at Vogue Studios. A successful photographer for many years, he now concentrates particularly on the creation of still-life subjects, where his use of controlled studio lighting enhances the dark, atmospheric subjects with which he has made his name.
Away from his photographic career, Laurel Wade has a particular interest in the restoration of buildings via traditional construction and decorative methods.
