Leon Bakst (1866-1924) was a Russian painter and scene and costume designer. He was a member of the Sergei Diaghilev circle and the Ballets Russes, for which he designed fantastical and vibrantly coloured sets and costumes.

This is an excellent Print of a wonderful poster for the premiére of the Nijinsky ballet
L'aprés-midi d'un faune. It captures the atmosphere of the famous Prélude by Debussy.

I love this print. The depth of colour is excellent for a print.
