About the Artwork

This high quality print is based on a coloured engraved plate depicting Hyacinths from the 1820 publication 'The Beauties of Flora' by Samuel Curtis (1779-1860). Some of the ten colour plates in this work are by the artists T Baxter and Clara Maria Pope.

Expertly printed in our Sussex studios, this print is produced to exacting museum conservation standards using inks and papers developed to create a perfect reproduction.
