Social Media Manager

King & McGaw is looking for an experienced, creative and analytical candidate to join their marketing team as Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will own the brand’s social media platforms, paid media campaigns and the content for both. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for art and 4+ years experience from a similar role, with demonstrable experience in managing a paid media agency and running multiple B2C social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Organic Social:

  • Deliver an organic social strategy that drives traffic and sales to kingandmcgaw.com, working to increase the % contribution that organic social makes to overall revenue. 
  • Own the social content plan and oversee scheduling across our social media platforms with team support.
  • Work with artists, partners and other brands in promotional activity to broaden our reach, drive our audience numbers and boost engagement. 
  • Deliver an audience growth strategy that reaches target audiences aligned with publishing direction. 
  • Launch the brand onto new and emerging platforms as and when required with specific content strategies suitable to the channel.
  • Stay abreast of social media trends, industry events and developments to position King & Mcgaw at the forefront.
  • Drive the brand’s social influencer marketing campaigns.  
  • Drive monthly channel reporting. 

Paid Social: 

  • Work with and manage our paid media agency to deliver ad campaigns via social media and Google to drive traffic, grow our audience and revenue via these channels.
  • Develop and drive the testing cycles for ad content that aligns with the wider marketing plan and product priorities.
  • Brief the design team to create, and provide assets and ads to our paid media agency.
  • Report on performance and insights to evolve the approach and wider strategy to reduce the % contribution from paid media.
  • Work with the internal web and merchandising team to incorporate and test new landing pages that are developed, ensuring that product and web performance is shared with the paid media agency.

Content: 

  • Work with the marketing, design and publishing teams to plan and execute content required for paid and organic social media.
  • Drive the production of content from a marketing perspective, working with the design team to ensure assets are produced and delivered to fulfil social media objectives.

Experience and attributes:

  • Experience in managing a paid media agency
  • Hands-on experience in managing social media platforms for a B2C brand
  • Ability to analyse data and identify marketing opportunities
  • Experience of using tools such as Google Analytics and Later.com
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Confident communicator
  • Self motivated and disciplined

Campaign Marketing Manager

King & McGaw is looking for an experienced and adaptable candidate to join their marketing team as Campaign Marketing Manager. The Campaign Marketing Manager will own the brand’s marketing plan, driving and executing launches and seasonal campaigns across organic channels. The right candidate will bring a passion for art and 4+ years experience from a similar role, specifically demonstrable experience in campaign planning and execution across channels including email marketing, partnerships and PR for a B2C brand. They will be a confident communicator, practiced in working with multiple stakeholders and be both creative and analytical in their approach.

Responsibilities:

Campaign marketing: 

  • Own and drive the brand’s marketing plan, planning and executing integrated product launches and seasonal campaigns across all of our channels.
  • Maintain open communication with the publishing team to ensure marketing and publishing strategies are aligned.  
  • Ensure marketing activity is across our broad product range including scheduled promotion for key licenses and artist estates.
  • Drive monthly channel reporting.

Content: 

  • Drive the content strategy for the brand, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop brand identity.  
  • Drive the production of content from a marketing perspective, working with the design team to ensure assets are produced and delivered to fulfil marketing objectives. 

Partnerships: 

  • Drive major partnerships with publishing and external partners. 
  • Work closely with museum partners to execute reciprocal marketing activity, ensuring license brand guidelines are adhered to in any assets we produce. 
  • Support publishing in new image archive or artist estate collection launches, working closely with the partner to generate reciprocal campaign output. 

PR:

  • Run the brand’s press office, responding to sample and image enquiries to generate coverage in online and print media. 
  • Support product launches and brand campaigns with targeted press releases with media-specific deadlines in mind. 
  • Work with SEO agency to support their efforts in digital PR for inbound link building. 
  • Drive monthly channel reporting.

Experience and attributes:

  • Experience in campaign planning and execution for a B2C brand
  • Ability to analyse data and identify marketing opportunities
  • Experience of using email marketing platforms, Klaviyo ideally
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

Creative Content Producer

We are looking for a Creative Content Producer with a passion for art to work closely with the team to produce original digital content for use across all our platforms. You will be a ‘natural creative’ with the ability to produce accessible content for a wide audience. You will find innovative ways to bring our products to life, showing our audiences new and different ways to engage, in turn contributing to the development of our brand. 

You will have demonstrable experience in start-to-finish digital production as a professional all-rounder with experience in both photography and video. You will have developed and delivered digital content strategies and campaigns for creative or cultural projects. 

Having an instinct for what sells and how to sell art, both in terms of content and product selection is an important part of this position, so the ideal candidate will have the ability to create engaging content with a focus on driving sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape our digital content strategy and produce a range of accessible, engaging, high quality and creative digital content to increase our customer base organically 
  • Communicate confidently and work collaboratively with colleagues, artists and our partners to develop ideas and bring an editorial eye to the digital content creation process
  • Shoot and edit video and still images for multiple uses across all digital platforms
  • Work closely with our Design and Retail teams to formulate and distribute content
  • Play an integral part in creating a digital content strategy to highlight all areas of King and McGaw, for both online retail and museum wholesale

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years producing high-quality, creative digital content for products or creative projects
  • A good understanding of the start to finish process, from concept, to distribution and evaluation
  • Experience in producing different standards of digital content, from high spec to DIY
  • A confident self-producer with a demonstrable interest in art and good commercial acumen
  • A keen editorial eye - able to suggest ideas for creative digital content for projects
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with artists and senior colleagues alike
  • Able to work with budgets, time and capacity limitations, and able to think creatively and innovatively to maximise resources
