V&A Art prints & posters
King & McGaw's long-standing collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum) features a selection of art prints that draws together highlights from the museum's world-renowned collections. Born in London in 1907, John French was instrumental in recording the fashion boom of his home city in the 50s and 60s, photographing all the top models of his day in clothing by designers ranging from Christian Dior to Mary Quant. His archive of negatives, contact prints and press cuttings, the result of over 10,000 sittings, is held at the V&A.
