Art prints & frames, handmade in England since 1982
Near where I grew up in England there is a collection of Oast Houses known as the Grey Ladies. The name comes from the grey-coloured tiles that cover the conical towers of the oasts, and because from a distance the tops of the towers have what looks like a ladies bonnet sitting atop each oast. The thistles are growing in the land adjacent to the oasts and would also make a great ladies bonnet, without the spikes I think!
