Art prints & frames, handmade in England since 1982
Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898 - 1972) was a skilled draughtsman, book illustrator, tapestry designer and muralist, best-known for his prints that reflect his fascination with order, symmetry and spatial logic - including his so-called Impossible Constructions.
During his lifetime he made 448 lithographs, woodcuts and wood engravings, and over 2000 drawings and sketches. He played with architecture, perspective and impossible spaces, and his keen observation of the world around us and the expression of his own fantasies continues to fascinate millions of people all over the world.

Sadly my first order of this print arrived with smashed glass (the package had clearly been knocked about in transit, with a massive hole in the side). Phoned to report the breakage, a human (!) answered the phone almost straightaway and a replacement arrived very quickly - I went for perspex just in case, and you can tell it isn't glass from the slightly wavy reflection. Still looks great overall though.
