We offer various types of mounts to help you choose the right style for your print. Watch this video to learn more about the different ways you can enhance the art you love.
A mount creates a window around the print and lifts the glazing from the surface of the artwork which helps prevent damage from condensation. We use acid free, white-core mount board which ensures the cut bevelled edge nearest the print remains crisp and white.
A recessed box frame involves setting the print further back its glazing with a small border around the artwork – ideal for when you want a more contemporary finish.
You may choose to enhance your print by framing it without a border. Removing the mount works particularly well for Graphic and Typographic works, or Vintage film posters.
All of our rare posters and limited edition prints are float mounted on conservation-grade mount board with a 20 mm border, which is set back from the glazing to protect the print.
Float mounting is perfect for displaying the edges of a print, especially when it has hand-torn or deckled edges.
