Marmite Print – Love It or Hate It?

by Sophie

Marmite – Orange Art Print by Retro Series, created in the style popularised by Andy Warhol in his portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Campbell’s Soup Cans

We’ve been exposed to Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s soup cans for quite some time now, so it’s about time a pop art print tribute to Marmite appeared. The love-it-or-hate-it yeast extract (which is a by product of the beer-making process) has achieved iconic status in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Indeed, there was news recently of a Marmite spill on the M1 motorway, and the extra strong (is it really needed?) aged version of Marmite, with it’s even more intense taste seems to be selling well!
