Pre-Raphaelite Prints

The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood was a collection of Victorian artists united in the idea that Raphael had exercised a corrupting influence on art. Controversial in their day, they established a style of painting which celebrated the beauty of nature, whilst avoiding the dogmatic approach they saw as prevalent amongst their peers. However, grounding these lofty ideals was the Brotherhood's fourth and final declaration - to produce thoroughly good pictures and statues.
